Oregon's longest serving chief justice will share his wisdom with Salem Area Young Professionals over lunch and talk about his perspective on giving back to the community. Carson was selected last February as Salem's First Citizen, and it has become a tradition for the outgoing First CItizen to spend some time with our Young Pro's. It is an honor for young professionals to have this opportunity to listen the Justice Carson and learn from his career and life experiences and glean his wisdom.

How to get the most out of Third Tuesdays:

1. Bring business cards and give one to at least 10 people.
2. Get at least 5 business cards from people you meet.
3. Follow up with those 5 people and schedule a time to meet to get to know each other's business better.
4. Wear your name tag on your right side so when you shake hands your name is in the other person's line of sight.
5. Keep your drink in your left hand - so you are able to shake hands on a moment's notice!
