The Salem Area Chamber of Commerce is taking the
"Get Plugged In" Initiative very seriously. Neighborhood Associations
and City of Salem Boards and Commissions depend on business involvement in
order to achieve success.
As a result, the Salem Chamber will be actively recruiting members willing to serve in representation of the business community. You can help on 2 fronts to make a true difference.
1) Neighborhood Associations
Salem City Council recognizes 19 different neighborhood associations as advisory boards to City Council. All businesses within a neighborhood association are automatically members of that association. For a complete map and information needed to contact the chair and become involved click here.

2) City of Salem Boards & Commissions
The City of Salem has 19 Boards/Commissions that depend on an active citizenry to advise Council on issues including Tourism, Traffic, Airport, Historic Landmarks, etc.
