This high-participation workshop is designed to teach you some of the basics of time management from someone who understands the challenges of succeeding in the business world. This is your chance to share your experiences and get personalized feedback and advice on some of the most common time challenges, including:

• Eliminate time wasters and avoid procrastination

• Plan and prioritize effectively

• Capitalize on prime and commuting time

• Handle emergencies effectively

 

About the Presenter: Pete Meuleveld is originally from Scappoose, OR. He earned his B.S. in economics from Portland State in 1964 and then served in the US Navy from 1965-68. Pete spent his 40 years in business with Boise Cascade. He came to Salem in 1972, working in the pulp mill as pulp and bleach plant supervisor until mill shutdown in 1982. He then went in to the sheet converting and shipping area that remained after the shutdown, and became plant manager in 1986 where he remained until retirement in 2004. He is now a counselor for SCORE. Pete is married to his wife Linda for 41 years (in June) and two grown children.
