About The Salem Chamber:

WHAT WE ARE:  

The Salem Area Chamber of Commerce is a privately-funded business and professional membership organization. Our United States tax code is a Not-for-Profit 501(c(6)).  With over 1,250 business and individual members and 12 staff, we are among the largest chambers of commerce in Oregon.  As a special interest group for business, the Chamber provides a host of programs and services designed to advocate for business interests, stimulating local business growth and prosperity. 

THE MISSION: 

To serve as your business and community advocate, and work to keep Salem a great place where business can prosper and families can live, work, play and shop.

THE BOARD:

We are voluntarily guided by some of Salem’s most influential leaders who serve on the Board of Directors.  The Chamber Board features a cross section of local business leaders - diverse in industry and company size.  The Chamber Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month, 7:00am at the Chamber office.
