About BUSINESS NEWS

The award-winning Business News is produced and published monthly by the Salem Chamber. Printing is by Eagle Web Press. Having news and events published and advertising in Business News is a benefit of Chamber membership.

Distribution

5,000 copies are printed. 2,700 are direct-mailed to Chamber members and community contacts. 2,300 are available at locations throughout the Salem area. Issues are also archived online.

Joe's Sports; MaPS Credit Union branches; the Salem Public Library; in display boxes in downtown Salem; Chemeketa Community College Book Store; Winema Job & Career Center; Salem Convention & Visitors Association; member bank branches and restaurants; and at the Chamber office. Advertise in Business News

A display ad in Business News gets your name in front of thousands of motivated readers. The open rate is $20 per column inch. Contract runs of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months offer discounts. Add color for $200 per insertion. Plus, the archived issues on the Chamber's Web site increase your visibility without adding extra cost! We can build your ad or you can submit it digitally. How to measure ad size

Business News is an 11" by 17" tabloid in a five column format. A column inch is 1 inch tall by 1 and 7/8 inches wide. A full page ad is 5 columns by 16 inches which totals 80 column inches.

1 issue = $80

3 issues = $228 (5% discount)
6 issues = $432 (10% discount)

9 issues = $612 (15% discount)

12 issues = $768 (20% discount)

INSERTED FLYERS - A Member-to-Member benefit

Inserts are 8½" x 11" flyers that are placed in the Business News that is direct-mailed to members. Insert space is limited and must be reserved. You supply 2,700 flyers to the Chamber office by the dates listed below in Deadlines & Publication Dates. Payment is required prior to or with delivery of the inserts.
